- This event is nestled in the community of Finland, Minnesota at the Finland Community Center.
- This local event is filled with fun for children and adults. There will be an active cider press for children to make apple and pear cider from local fruit trees, and local vendor booths inside the center for purchasing goods.
- The Booya is homemade on site by a local chef with ingredients sourced within 60 miles of Finland. The sourdough rye bread is also made by a local chef as well as the wild rice pudding.
- Such a beautiful event in the fall. Come and dance!

Laulu Aika plays virtual music for Nisswa-stämman 2021
Because of the pandemic, meeting and playing at this beautiful event was unsafe. It was recommended that all musicians scheduled to perform at Nisswa-stämman 2021 submit two music videos of two dance tunes that would have been included in the evening dance. We submitted two tunes recorded outside on a chilly Minnesotan spring afternoon and were part of the Nisswa-stämman2021 broadcast, then later archived on Youtube.com.

This is a fun evening of music and dance presented in a relaxed setting. No dance partners are required. Come and learn Finnish Folk Dance from 6pm - 7pm, then dance to Laulu Aika from 7pm - 8pm and Finn Hall from 8pm - 9pm. For more information please see Nordic Dance website.

This festival is free and has something for all ages! Laulu Aika will join musicians representing other Nordic countries for this all day event. There are two stages and also an area for dancing. Food is available for purchase, and there are Nordic crafts made available by different local artists. It's a wonderful day of music, dancing, and friends new and old.
